Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

The Atlantic Pilot, which launched in 2017 and is designed to help employers hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate as well as international graduates looking for employment opportunities after graduation. If you want to be part of the pilot, an Atlantic Canada employer must offer you a job. The pilot program facilitates the arrival of foreign workers by providing them with employment opportunities and settlement plans. After an employer identifies a candidate who meets their needs, they can begin looking for ways to welcome that individual without having to go through the process of acquiring LMIA; this is especially useful if one has no previous history of hiring foreign staff members.

Pilot Requirements

The 3 programs in the pilot are all designed to match job seekers with employers across Atlantic Canada. Each program has its own requirements, but you must show proof of language skills, education and work experience as well as prove that you have enough money to support your family when they arrive. You can qualify for more than 1 program but can only apply to one of them.
