Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program

The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) is a program that helps skilled workers, international graduates, and their families settle in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. If you are a foreign national who wants to live in Newfoundland & Labrador, this is the program for you.

Why Newfoundland and Labrador?

Newfoundland and Labrador is the perfect place to live. It’s full of natural beauty, friendly people, and exciting opportunities. We have everything from pristine beaches to small towns where there are always things happening. And we’re just getting started! Our province has so much more in store for you – all you need to do is come here and see it for yourself.

How do I Apply?

The application process is simple. Applicants must determine which of the three categories they belong to – Skilled Worker, Express Entry Skilled Worker or International Graduate. Shaun Immigration will complete all required provincial and federal forms for their category as well as gather supporting documents. Once this is done, we will upload everything through the Office of Immigration Multiculturalism portal.

Express Entry Skilled Worker

The Express Entry Skilled Worker Category is a path to permanent residence for those intending to live in Newfoundland and Labrador. Applicants must be accepted into Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) pool by having an offer of full-time work with their employer located in the province.

Skilled Worker

The International Skilled Worker Category is for international workers and potential immigrants who have the skills that are necessary to improve Canada’s economy. Applicants need a job offer from an employer in their field of work, or they must currently be working with a valid Canadian Work Permit. Employers also need to prove why applicants’ skill sets will benefit them specifically.

International Graduate

This category is for recent graduates who have a Post-Graduate Work Permit and are either employed or can provide proof of employment from an employer in Newfoundland.

International Entrepreneur

The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program will soon open their doors to foreign nationals who wish to settle in this province. Candidates must operate a business for one year while on a Temporary Work Permit before applying for a provincial nomination from the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.

International Graduate Entrepreneur

This program will provide international graduates who have attended Newfoundland and Labrador post-secondary institutions with a pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
